Some words about drug addiction
Drug addiction is an illness or disease where the user becomes physically and mentally dependent through continuous drug abuse. Once the user starts using drugs, he/she repeatedly increases the level of drug intake in the desire to get extreme satisfaction. In this way, as a result of continuous drug use, the body's tolerance to the drug gradually increases and once the drug use is stopped, various types of physical and mental symptoms of withdrawal appear. Even though the drug user understands the harm to himself/herself, it is not possible for him/her to completely stop or control drug use through his/her own efforts. This lack of control is a main symptom of the disease called addiction. Sometimes, even if the user stops the drug for a few days through his/her own efforts or through physical treatment and overcomes the withdrawal problems, he/she falls into the clutches of addiction again due to the intense mental pull towards the drug. All types of drug addicts are subject to this rule.
